Honda Amaze Car Battery
About Honda Amaze
The first-generation Amaze was a pioneer for Honda – it was the first Honda model in India to get a diesel engine. It was also the brand’s first compact sedan segment success. In just 5 years, it became the second bestseller in the segment after Dzire.
The new Amaze, launched in 2018, is an impressive compact sedan with modern looks and fresh interiors. It sports Honda’s signature ´solid wing face´ that you will find on the City, Civic, and CR-V – angular headlights and a thick chrome grille. There is a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an instrument cluster with clear dials, and matt-black steering. The overall design is great – smart, stylish, and looks expensive. It has a vertical chunky chrome grille that also looks good. The dashboard looks premium with a piano black trim.
The rear pace has comfortable seating with ample legroom and thigh support. The car has a 420-litre boot with enough space for plenty of bags. Exterior features include smart entry, LED turn indicators, and newly styled alloys. For safety, there is an ABS with EBD and dual-front airbags. The petrol variant has a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder i-VTEC motor. The five-speed manual gearbox has a smooth shift action. With a sporty gear lever and light clutch pedal, it offers a comfortable driving experience. The petrol CVT is very convenient – paddle shifts can be used to select the rpm range.
The model comes with a 1,199 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 1,498 cc 4-cylinder diesel engine. While the petrol variant is refined at idle, the diesel is more refined than in the previous generations. While the older generations gave a mileage of 15.2 kmpl – 20.8 kmpl, the five-speed manual gives 17.87 kmpl and 21.47 kmpl in the city and highway. The diesel-CVT gives a mileage of 14.8 kmpl in the city and 18.9 kmpl on the highway.
What Happens if Your Car Battery Fails?
Maintaining your Honda Amaze’s battery is important if you want the best performance out of it. If your battery dies or fails as you drive, you could be stranded in the middle of nowhere. A car battery that has failed cannot power a car’s electrical components, which can be a huge safety issue. It is, thus, advisable that you always keep it maintained and get it regularly checked for issues. With proper car battery care and maintenance, you can really improve your car’s life and performance. The good news is that your car will give some warning signs so you can replace them well in time – cranking engine, dimming headlights, etc.
