Honda BRIO Car Battery

About the Model

The Honda Brio is a space and fuel-efficient hatchback designed primarily for India and Thailand markets. Launched in India in 2011, it is no longer in production. The car features light controls, a slick gearshift, and easy manoeuvrability. The Indian Brio had a full HVAC unit, with the characteristic Honda-style grille and overall profile. It had an unconventional rear-end design with an all-glass hatch.

The Brio was offered in V, VX and VX BL trims. It primarily competes with Maruti Swift, Ritz, Figo, i10, and Etios Liva. In 2014, Honda had recalled a few thousand models owing to a possible mis-assembling of the proportioning valve. The 1st generation was discontinued in 2018 owing to poor sales. In February 2019, Honda completely eliminated the model from its Indian product line. Now, the Honda Amaze is the entry-level offering from Honda in the Indian market.

Features and Specifications

The car has a deep and glossy paint job with body panels fitted with tight, consistent tolerances. ABS and airbags come with the middle and top variants, but not the base variant. The model features the right list of essentials – electric mirrors, steering mounted controls, USB and AUX inputs for the stereo, engine immobiliser, power windows, and fog lamps. The petrol engine is 1198 cc, available with manual transmission. Depending upon the variant and fuel type, the car gives a mileage of 16.5 to 22.0 kmpl.

What Happens if You Choose Poor Batteries

If your car has a poor (fake) battery, it won’t be able to hold a charge for long. This will ultimately result in a dead battery. Almost always, you’ll see some tell-tale signs that will help you understand there’s a problem so that you can call experts for timely help. Some of these are – the engine cranking upon turning the key, the engine making a whirring sound, headlights dimming, etc. If you’ve noticed any of these lately, get your battery tested without delay. If your battery is completely discharged, you will see that your car doesn’t start even after several attempts. The best course of action to take is to get original car batteries from Car Fit Experts instead of wasting money on fake batteries that won’t last too long.
